The Problem.

A dog is a man's best friend. Treat him right or treat him wrong, he will remain the most loyal friend you will ever have. His life depends on you in more ways than you might realize. Seldom, however, will he ever complain if you mistreat him.

Before we start I would like you to ask yourself a couple of questions. What kind of dog foods do you feed your dog? Do you know what are in these dog foods? If not, how do you know your dog is getting the proper nutrition for a long healthy life? I have a feeling that most people do not know the answer to the second question, even if you think you do. If you did, your dog would not be eating store bought dog food. The harsh but simple truth is that commercial dog foods are killing your dog. Do I say this to you to make you feel guilty? No, that is not my intent, but after you get done reading this guilt may be what you feel.

Did you know the pet food industry makes over 15 billion a year? Yes, pretty amazing isn’t it. If you think for one second that any of those commercial companies out there care about anything other than money you are dead wrong. There are terrifying secrets behind what’s in dog food and how it is made. What is the dog food made out of you ask? Intestines, udders, heads (yea the whole thing), hooves, and possibly diseased and cancerous animal parts.

Did you know that the dead animals they use to make pet food will literally sit where it died for weeks before anyone decides to take care of it? In the meantime this dead animal in building up bacteria that can be extremely harmful to your dog. It’s just disgusting!

Many chemicals are added to commercial pet foods to improve the taste, stability, characteristics, or appearance of the food. Here is a list of additives that are approved and are ok to be put into dog food.
